Our Values
Kingdom Movement School of Ministry functions under the values of Kingdom Movement Church and applies them directly to our students’ growth and development.
HONOR
Fill the space with something good
We choose to see others the way God sees them. We cover each other's weaknesses with grace and fill in the space with something good. We defend each other’s honor by speaking life and refusing to join in gossip. This kind of honor creates a safe environment for growth. We submit to one another in love, not out of fear or control, but from mutual respect and a desire to serve. Healthy honor flows in every direction, up, down, and sideways.
HEART FOR PEOPLE
We move toward people with compassion, not judgment.
We open our hearts to feel others’ pain, see from their perspective, and walk with them toward restoration. We forgive quickly, serve humbly, and encourage consistently. We fight for connection with those who are searching.
KOINONIA
Open Hearts Open Hearts
We fight for connection. We embrace the mess of real relationships. We don’t run from conflict, discomfort, or imperfection. We lean in to build family. We live with open hearts, choosing vulnerability over self-protection. We gather around the table, not just for meals, but to share our lives. Through this koinonia, we protect the bond of unity.
FEAR OF THE LORD
One Fear
We walk in the fear of the Lord; with awe, reverence, and honor toward God. We take time to wait on the Lord and hear His word for today. We move only when He leads. His presence is our priority; not our plans, not our pace. We are quick to repent and turn towards Him. We live in the light and let it expose any darkness. We are not indifferent toward compromise-we confront it in ourselves and in community with grace and truth. We call each other higher-not to shame, but to honor Him. We never settle for fear of man-the fear of the Lord gives us boldness to share the gospel.
GENEROSITY
We are most like God when we give.
Generosity is not just what we do—it’s who we are. We live to give. As sons and daughters, we joyfully release what God has supplied, knowing we are stewards, not owners. We believe in the power of the seed. In the Kingdom, we give our way into things and give our way out of them. It’s not about the size of the seed, it’s about everyone sowing in faith. Generosity is our privilege. We give generously, sacrificially, and consistently—because our generosity honors God and makes room for others. We believe God has a thousand ways to provide, and it is our joy to partner with Him in obedience.
EXCELLENCE
Reaching for what’s possible.
We don’t aim for “good enough”. We reach for what’s possible because He’s worthy of our best. Excellence expresses our worship. It’s how we honor the Lord with our effort. We choose intentionality, diligence, and care instead of passivity, laziness, or sloppiness. Excellence is a journey of development.
SURRENDER
Be the ones who died to get there.
We live yielded. Surrender is not weakness—it’s worship. We choose to offer God costly sacrifice–rejecting what costs us nothing. Only what dies can truly live. We answer Jesus’ call: “Come and die.” Only what’s surrendered on the altar has permission to burn. Jesus didn't come to improve you; He came to end you and raise you brand new.
HUNGER FOR MORE
Stay hungry-even when you’re full
We never outgrow our need for Him. We need the oil of His presence. We never settle for yesterday’s manna/encounters. Knowing Him is a lifelong pursuit. We never graduate from pursuit. We press in, knowing we never arrive–there is always growth ahead. We refuse to settle for powerless Christianity. We don’t fake fire, we go back to the altar. Hunger calls us higher. When the passion fades, we don’t perform, we pursue. We resist apathy and complacency. We press into discomfort. While we grow in maturity, we remain childlike. We stay hungry even when we’re full. We seek transformation, not just inspiration. If our faith isn’t transforming us or impacting others
Responsible
If I see it, I solve it.
We are stewards of what God gives us: prophetic words, breakthrough, and authority require faithful stewardship. Faithful is one who multiplies. Fruitfulness demonstrates authentic discipleship. We are problem solvers: ministers and equippers who choose to take action, welcoming challenges as formational. We give and receive feedback through our house values and our direct leaders.
