FAQ

GENERAL FAQ

  • Yes, the non-refundable application fee is $50.

  • Because we are non-accredited, students raise their finances by either working before coming to school or having friends, family, church members or churches support them.

We believe that God is more than able to provide the resources for you to attend. Seek Him about your interest in this school and believe that He is directing your steps and can provide the resources necessary to attend.

If you are in need of fundraising, we encourage you to create a video to post on your social media accounts of your acceptance to KMTS. Share about your heart and why you feel called to spend the upcoming summer with us. This is a great opportunity to share your fundraising needs for tuition!

  • Yes, we can, but we cannot help you get a visa. If you can get your own visitor or other visa, we welcome you!

  • Community student housing will be provided as part of your tuition. Adult counselors will be living with the students and serve as pastoral figures in their lives for the entire 4 weeks. Curfew and house rules will be set in place for you to kindly follow.

  • You will be able to move in the weekend before classes start (June 22-23) ONLY AFTER your tuition has been paid.

TRANSPORTATION & FOOD

  • We have arranged for your counselor, or another volunteer driver to drop you off and pick you up to and from school daily.

  • Groceries, lunches, and dinners will be provided for. A few students will switch off in the mornings helping their counselors cook breakfast before class. Lunches will be provided for at school along with snacks, as well as dinners at home.

Values

  • God has placed us into His family, so we intentionally create family and community wherever we go. Community is one of God’s most important tools for transforming us into His likeness. Family is about living selflessly, generously, serving each other, and submitting to one another out of reverence for Christ.

  • Students will encounter the Father’s love and His heart towards us. Everything comes from experiencing, understanding, and becoming love. They will discover who God is, why He made us, and what He made us for.

  • We ground ourselves in Scripture to meet God through His Word. His Word transforms our mindset, and a transformed mindset results in a transformed lifestyle where we look like Jesus in every way.

  • KMTS is designed to equip students not just to minister in the gifts of the Spirit, but to live a supernatural lifestyle. One of our goals is that every student would know how to preach the Gospel, share their testimonies, and partner with Holy Spirit to transform the lives of others around them daily.

  • Every believer is in full-time ministry because God is advancing His Kingdom, not just building His Church. Every believer must live a lifestyle of proclaiming the Gospel, and inspiring more believers into the kingdom of God.

  • Christ died to set us free from the law of sin, death, fear, and shame. Freedom is very personal, but not self-centered. We have been given freedom as a gift and the responsibility of free people is to serve one another in love.
